An Important Note About Photography

Guests are encouraged to take photos. We want you to have visual memories that you can treasure and share with others. Nevertheless, we take the safety of residents seriously, especially the children who live here. As a result, we developed a policy that balances meaningful photography and community wellbeing. We ask guests to avoid taking close up photos of any children during the tour. If their face is not identifiable, you may take a picture. But, if the children are not wearing shirts or clothes, they cannot be photographed at any time. If you have questions about this policy, or take a photo that might violate this policy, please speak with our guide who is happy to assist.

Other Matters

Time permitting we will have a snack at your tour guides home. It is typically fresh fruit. We also have lunch at the waterfall. They have many options such as grilled meat as well as vegetarian fried rice, noodles, etc. Please note the food can be somewhat expensive (5 USD per plate) and is not included in the tour price.

No. The group tour itinerary is not very strenuous. There is a staircase up to the pagoda, but if it is too difficult, you can wait at the base. Swimming and hiking are also optional. You are welcome to relax instead if you prefer. Private tours to Kbal Spean do have a mandatory hiking portion so you should be in reasonable shape.

Tipping is always optional but appreciated.
